I’m truly pleased to be leaving this review for Raesita Allen.
My 4 year old son was in speech therapy virtually for almost a year prior to him coming to her. He was completely nonverbal, he hadn’t yet said my name and he had been saying less than 5 words. Since he has been attending Parental Guidance, his sessions with Raesita have been nothing short of a life changer in a matter of just a few sessions, even going as far to say, less than two months and he only attends once a week.
Currently, he’s finally saying mama, saying clearer words (around 10-15). We have been implementing her strategies and I enjoy watching him show her the progress he’s made from the weekly homework she gives us to work on.
Raesita is truly a remarkable therapist that loves what she does and is very patient with my son and treats him with so much care. I recommend her services to any one who is seeking help for their young child. She’s truly a gift and my ONLY regret is not having known about her last year when he first needed help.

Mrs. Allen is, without a doubt, the best speech pathologist I have ever worked with. She is incredibly detail-oriented, passionate, and, most importantly, she diversifies her teaching approaches to meet each child where they are. Her communication is excellent, and her overall level of care and professionalism is honestly some of the best I’ve seen. While I was not attending the sessions with our previous speech therapist, I see the advantage of being part of the learning process. It’s great to be able to know what techniques are used in session and the thought process behind them. It’s also much easier now to take these ideas home and discuss them with my spouse, so we can both participate. If you’re looking for speech therapy, I’d definitely recommend Parental Guidance.

Well, after going through a few therapists that were cookie cutter, then finding Mrs Raesita. I wouldnt go to anyone else. Honestly, I feel shes professional and yet adds just enough personal to make the process of recieving therapy a want and not just a need.
